Hello Chip, it's been a while.
Hope all is well.

A comment on your recent post about bias.

This is the core problem when it comes to covering moral topics in the news. For example, if America decides in 50 years that it is wrong in every way shape and form for gays to be discriminated against, will it be considered a journalistic sin to give any ink to conservative groups who still view homosexuality as a sin? Bias too often is judged by what the public at that moment considers normal. If public sentiment changes in 50 years, what reporters consider biased changes with it.

Mr Reiss says he has not been surprised by the victims. "People are much more discerning now about how they spend their money and you have to keep moving forward as a brand. If you don't have that sense of uniqueness or give customers what they want, you are going to struggle. You have to be adaptable and understand your customer. It's a tough world out there."!!!
